This policy explains how SNTWET Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”) handles your information in the SNTWET Excavator AI Expert app, our other apps, and sntwet.com.

1. What we collect

1.1 Account

The app uses Sign in with Apple. Apple gives us a stable user identifier. Whether we also receive an email address is your choice at the moment you authorise. If you choose “Hide My Email”, what we receive is Apple’s relay address, not your real mailbox. We never receive your Apple ID password or anything else from your Apple account.

1.2 Details you choose to give us (all optional)

After signing in we invite you to tell us your role, company name, country or region, number of machines, the brands and models you work on, unit preference, a phone or WhatsApp number, and whether you want to hear about parts and oil supply. Every field can be skipped, and skipping changes nothing about what the app does. The brands and models you pick set your default search scope and what appears on the home screen.

1.3 Usage

The questions you type, when you asked them, a random device identifier, the app version, the platform, and an approximate region inferred from your device language. We also record which questions found nothing, so we know which data to add next.

1.4 Technical

Your IP address and request logs. The IP is used to enforce the daily quota and to stop bulk scraping. It is not used to locate you.

1.5 What we do not collect

We do not collect your name (unless you type it into the company field), precise location, contacts or photos. We use no advertising identifiers, no advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking. The app requests no camera, location or notification permission at launch.

2. Why we collect it

To answer your questions — to work out what you are asking and pull the matching part numbers, specifications, fault-code meanings and fluid capacities out of the database.
To enforce the daily quota — the free allowance is counted per account and per device.
To close data gaps — we count the questions that found nothing and use that to decide what data to add. This is the main reason the app keeps getting more accurate.
To contact you — only if you ticked the box for parts and oil supply. You can turn it off at any time.

3. Who processes your data

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising. To run the service, these providers process what they need to:

Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Singapore region) — the text of your question is sent to the language model to interpret it and to organise the wording of the answer. Part numbers and technical values always come from our own database, never from the model.
Cloudflare — site and API delivery, protection and email routing.
Apple — performs the sign-in itself.

Beyond this we disclose nothing to third parties, except where the law requires it or in response to a lawful request from a competent authority.

4. Where your data is held

Our servers and database are in the Singapore region. Our company is registered in Changsha, Hunan, China. If you use the service from elsewhere, your data is transferred to those locations for processing.

5. How long we keep it

Account and profile: until you delete your account.
Query history: up to 24 months, for gap analysis and quality work, then deleted or anonymised.
Quota counters: daily, cleared after 90 days.

6. Your choices

Delete your account — in the app under Account → Delete account. This removes your account, your subscription record and your query history. It cannot be undone.
See and correct — profile fields can be edited in the app at any time.
Withdraw consent — turn off the parts and oil supply option to stop that contact.
For anything else, email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

7. Children

The service is built for people working in the construction-machinery trade and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Your access token stays on your device. Internal access is kept to the minimum needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not type anything into a query that you would not want recorded.

9. Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page, and we tell you in the app when the change is significant.
